United Artists Original U.S. Three-Sheet Poster (41x81) for the James Bond spy adventure YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE (1967). The film stars Sean Connery, Donald Pleasence, Lois Maxwell, Charles Gray and Desmond Llewelyn. This was the fifth in the James Bond series and had a budget of 10 million dollars, most of which was spent on fabricating the SPECTRE volcano headquarters. SPECTRE agent Blofeld (Pleasence) is set on taking control of the world, instigating World War III by literally "gobbling up" an American spacecraft and making the Americans think the Soviets did it. The British secret service devises an elaborate ploy to make everyone think Bond has been killed, but the resurrected hero secretly makes his way to the SPECTRE headquarters disguised as a peasant fisherman. Aided by Ninja soldiers, Bond accomplishes his task and once again saves the world from disaster. This three sheet poster is actually somewhat rare.
