Original Columbia Pictures Window Card for the Phil Karlson spy comedy, THE WRECKING CREW (1969) starring Dean Martin, Elke Sommer, Sharon Tate, and Nancy Kwan. This was the final of four films in the Matt Helm spy series created by author Donald Hamilton and the subject of 27 books beginning in 1960. Helm was a U.S. government counter-agent whose primary job was to kill or otherwise disable enemy agents. But the character that Martin played was a light and breezy spoof of the James Bond character because the filmmakers believed the only way to compete with the Bond films was a parody them. This original window card is theater-used, but is in generally fine condition. Colors are vivid and the integrity of the paper is sound.
