This is one of a series of film that was based upon the writings of German author Karl May. The film starred Lex Barker as Old Shatterhand and Pierre Brice as Winnetou. Also starring Marie Versini, Mario Adorf, Walter Barnes, Chris Howland, Ralf Wolfer and Gojko Mitic. The movie was actually a West German - Italian - Yugoslavian co-production. There was a huge market for western books and films in Europe and this type of film was certainly speaking to that market. Lex Barker, usually an urbane, attractive actor was able to make this characgter believable. Condition on this poster is graded as very good, but please note that there is a chip out of the bottom right corner.
