Original Paramount Pictures One Sheet Poster (27x41) for the R. G. Springsteen action western, WACO (1966) starring Howard Keel, Jane Russell, Brian Donlevy, and Wendell Corey. Producer A.C. Lyles made several low-budget westerns in the 60s that featured veteran actors. Waco does not refer to the Texas town, but rather is the name of the gunfighter hero (Keel) who is released from jail to clean up a town being terrorized by a gang under the leadership of black-garbed Ace Ross (Donlevy). In a major music promotion for the film, TV ÒBonanzaÓ star Lorne Greene recorded the title song for a single released in coordination with the filmÕs release. This original one sheet poster is folded and in very fine condition.
