Original MGM One-Sheet Poster, folded, for the Richard Thorpe directed western film VENGEANCE VALLEY (1950). The movie stars a most vigorous Burt Lancaster and the fetching Joanne Dru. Sally Forrest, Robert Walker, Robert J. Wilke and Carleton Carpenter fill out the cast. Filmed in Colorado, the story involves two sons of a rich cattle baron. One is adopted and one is not. And the son that is not adopted is a wild young man, played by the always devious Robert Walker. Burt is supposed to watch after him. This is easier said than done. A big splashy Technicolor western with a big MGM cast, including John Ireland, Ray Collins and Hugh O'Brien. This poster is a pretty MGM poster. It was used in a theater and has a fold separation of about two inches at one of the fold intersections. We have reinforced the fold with archival tissue.
