Original Warner Brothers U.S. 30-sheet billboard poster for the Wolfgang Petersen directed epic TROY (2004). The film stars Brad Pitt, Eric Bana, Sean Bean, Orlando Bloom, Brian Cox, Diane Kruger and James Cosmo. Warners came at Homer's ILLID twice in their history. In 1956, Robert Wise directed HELEN OF TROY, a film which was a magnificent flop with stellar sets by Roger Furse. In that film, the center of attention was Helen, played by the Italian beauty Rossana Podesta. In 2004, Roger Benioff devised a version that was very male centric. All the boys looked like they were veterans of Abercrombie and Fitch, young and beautiful. Except for the august Peter O'Toole who played Priam, the King of the unlucky Trojans. In the earlier movie the Trojans were played as the good guys and the greeks were creeps. But here the legend of the Greek heroes was revived. The film is opulent to be sure. This 30-sheet never used and therefore is in fine plus to very fine condition. It's pretty big, so be sure you have room for it.
