Original 20th Century Fox set of 25 color photographs (8x10) for the Richard Fleischer directed war epic TORA! TORA! TORA! starring Joseph Cotten, Jason Robards Jr., Martin Balsam, Leon Ames and a host of other players. This picture depicts in epic style the bombing of Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. Fox went to great expense to create a documentary like experience on an epic scale about the events of that fabled Sunday morning when the U.S. was plunged headlong into World War II. Fox employed three different directors for this monumental task. Richard Fleischer directed the American sequences. Japanese directors Toshio Masuda and Kinji Fukasaku directed the Japanese sequences. These color lithographic photographs are very elegantly printed in Italy, but were used for the roadshow promotion of the film in America and Europe.
