This film was shot on a very low budget in the summer of 1973 - the era of the war in Vietnam, plane hijackings, the Watergate fiasco, racial conflict, terrorism, and revolution. The story revolves around a group of young people who return to the nostalgic home of their childhood only to stumble into the raw and irrational cruelty of the modern world. They are systematically hunted down and terrorized by a chainsaw-wielding killer and his family of grave-robbing cannibals. The actors are always believable, and the exceptional cinematography of Daniel Pearl creates an unrelenting experience of sensory overload. This Japanese poster is in fine plus condition and is signed by cast members Gunnar Hansen, Ed Neal, Terry McMinn, William Vail, John Dugan, and Allen Danziger. The poster was originally folded, and these three horizontal folds present as "soft" folds. The edges are for the most part clean with a little edge wear in the lower left corner area.
