20th Century Fox Original U.S. Pressbook and a full set of U.S. lobby cards for the Henry Koster directed biblical drama THE STORY OF RUTH (1960). The film starred Stuart Whitman, Elana Eden, Viveca Lindfors, Tom Tryon, Basil Ruysdael and Thayer David. The film is inspired by the scriptural tale of Ruth, a Moabitess priestess who is drawn to a Judean man and to his talk of a forgiving God. This was a big picture for Fox with a huge cast. It was made right at the time when the studios were producing many epic and biblical films. The pressbook has six pages, including a large fold-out section with ad mats.
