Original 20th Century Fox Italian 39x55 poster for the George Lucas sci-fi epic, STAR WARS : EPISODE IV - A NEW HOPE, starring Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, and Alec Guinness. The movie that launched a new era in science fiction special effects also had great casting, an excellent screenplay, and direction by Lucas. With an unforgettable score by John Williams. The picture won seven Academy Awards and was nominated for four more - including Best Picture, Best Screenplay and Best Director for Lucas, and Best Supporting Actor for Guinness for his truly memorable Obi-Wan Kenobi.
