With a famous performance by Otto Preminger, usually behind the camera but this time appearing as an actor. In the post war period of the 1950s, this film was extremely popular and resonated with veterans who had served in World War II. Holden gives one of the best performances of his career, imbuing the film with his personality. This poster was used in a theater, and was folded at one point.
