Original Belgium 1950s Re-Release Poster (15x22) for the Alfred Hitchcock mystery thriller, SPELLBOUND (1945) starring Ingrid Bergman, Gregory Peck, Michael Chekhov, and Leo G. Carroll. This film revolves around a female psychoanalyst (Bergman) who tries to protect the identity of an amnesia patient (Peck) accused of murder while attempting to recover his memory. With outstanding performances, especially from Bergman and Peck who portray one of the great romantic couples of movie history, along with stunning cinematography and an Academy Award winning score from Miklos Rozsa Ð all make this film very memorable. The film had five other Oscar nominations, including Best Picture and Best Director for Hitchcock. This original Belgium Poster is unfolded and in very fine plus condition. This early fifties re-release is, in terms of color and image, a beautifully executed poster and less expensive than the first release certainly.
