Original U.S. One-Sheet Poster for the Ricardo Freda epic SPARTACO, entitled SINS OF ROME in the United States. This Italian epic told the story of Spartacus, with italian hunk Masimo Girotti in the role of Spartacus, a role that Kirk Douglas would immortalize just a few years later with his own very famous film. It is reported that the producers of SPARTACUS - it's unclear whether that mean Kirk Douglas himself or Universal - bought the negative to this film so that it could not be shown in competition with the famous epic. This is a folded one sheet in very fine condition - color is vivid and fold distress is minimal.
