Original Warner Brothers One-Sheet Poster (27x41), folded, for the Roy Ward Baker directed film THE SINGER NOT THE SONG. The film starred Sir Dirk Bogarde, Sir John Mills, Eric Pohlmann, and Mylene Demongeot. The film involves a Catholic priest serving a small Mexican town. The priest becomes involved in trying to rid the town of a bandit and a conflict with some surprising complications occur. The sins of the bandit and the Catholic Church are exposed. The film was based on a novel by Audrey Erskine Lindop. The film was premiered in New York in May of 1962, but ultimately failed at the boxoffice. But in the wake of many Church scandals has become somewhat of a cult movie. The poster is graded in fine plus condition.
