Original Paramount Pictures Half-Sheet Poster (22x28) for the John Frankenheimer film SEVEN DAYS IN MAY (1964). Adapted from a very popular best-selling novel by Fletcher Knebel and Charles W. Bailey II, the film stars Burt Lancaster, Kirk Douglas, Fredric March and Ava Gardner. The screenplay was written by Rod Serling. A right-wing Army General attempts to overthrow the government of the United States. The film played as a bit paranoid in 1964. Now it doesn't seem so implausible. This never-folded poster is in fine condition, but it was used in a theater in Canada and it has a Province of Quebec censor notification (rubber-stamped) on it.
