Original Paramount U.S. Scene Lobby Card from the Victor Schertzinger directed musical comedy SAFETY IN NUMBERS (1930) starring Charles "Buddy" Rogers, Carole Lombard, Kathryn Crawford, Josephine Dunn, Roscoe Karns, Richard Tucker and Francis McDonald. Charles Rogers was the epitome of the good-looking All-American Guy. In the 1920s and the early 1930s he was publicized as America's Boyfriend. He was married, famously, to Mary Pickford until she died in 1979. Charles Rogers had an active career, including starring in WINGS (1929), the first film to be selected as the Oscars' Best Picture. The card can also be considered an interesting Carole Lombard lobby. The two other actresses shown are Josephine Dunn and Kathryn Crawford. This card is a rare card.
