Universal Pictures Original U.S. Insert Poster (14x36), rolled, never folded, for the Stuart Millar directed western ROOSTER COGBURN (...AND THE LADY). The lady in question is Katherine Hepburn. John Wayne reprises the character of the one-eyed lawman he played in the 1969 film TRUE GRIT. The film is a bit more lighthearted than the earlier film, and this time there was no Oscar for Wayne. But there is at least the chemistry of two old pros helping Millar to create lively entertainment. The film also starred Anthony Zerbe, Richard Jordan, John McIntire, Lane Smith and Strother Martin. This poster was used in a theater and has survived the years in very fine condition. The art is by Bill Gold.
