Panagea Films One Sheet Poster. 27x41. Rolled. Very Fine, Rolled
The best Willie Nelson film poster there is -- and this one is unfolded, which makes it great for any Willie Nelson fan. Willie plays a preacher who comes to Montana from the East. When his wife, played by Morgan Fairchild, runs off with another man, all hell breaks loose - or does it? Texas writer Bill Wittliff wrote the screenplay for Willie Nelson based on a song that Nelson had written. After financing for the film was endangered, Willie decided to finance the movie himself and got money from Texas writer Bud Shrake and UT Football coach Darrell Royal. The film was made in Austin and at Willie Nelson's ranch just west of Austin in the Texas hill country. The art is by Robert Tanenbaum and it is a great image from the latter days of the Outlaw Country Era. Katherine Ross and R.G. Armstong were featured and Wittliff directed. While the poster is rolled - never folded - it does have minor ding on the right border with very minor paper loss in the border area. Still, this will frame beautifully. Absolutely authentic, vintage poster for this film. MovieArt will sell NO reproductions.
