Ryan plays a tough Marshall trying to tame a lawless town. Ain't that always the case? This western poster is a good example of the 20th Century Fox approach to poster design in the mid 1950s. Of course, Fox promotes its widescreen process, CinemaScope, which was only three years old when this film was released.
