Original U.S. One-Sheet Poster (27x41) Folded Fair to Good Condition Theater-Used
PRC (Producer's Releasing Corporation) Original U.S. One-Sheet Poster for the Edgar Ulmer directed film PRISONER OF JAPAN (1942). The film stars Alan Baxter, Gertrude Michael, and Ernst Deutsch. The movie was only 64 minutes long, and is typical of the kind of sensationalistic B-picture that PRC was famous for. Partly a war movie, but also a spy movie. The United States was six months into World War II when this movie, quickly made, was released on July 22, 1942. The film was directed by Arthur Ripley. This poster was used in a theater, and it shows signs of use, including some fold separations. We have remediated these separations with some archival tissue, but the buyer would be well advised to consider linen-backing. MovieArt Original Film Poster in Austin, Texas guarantees that this poster is authentic. We have graded the condition as fair to good.
