Warner Brothers Original Scene Lobby Card (11x14) Very Fine Condition

Original Warner Brothers Scene Lobby Card (11x14) for the Delmer Daves directed film PARRISH (1961) starring Troy Donahue, Claudette Colbert, Karl Malden, Connie Stevens, Diane McBain, and Sharon Hugueny. The movie was based on a novel by Mildred Savage. Donahue plays Parrish McLean, a young man setting out in life who is trying to find his own way. His mother is played by Claudette Colbert in the first film she had made in nine years. The entire project was written, produced and directed by Daves. Although the film was conceived as an adult drama, young people flocked in droves to see Troy Donahue in what was marketed to be a steamy soap. It wasn't quite that. It did have great production values and a good score by Max Steiner. Warners had a boxoffice success, taking in almost three times their production costs. Look for up and coming starlets Connie Stevens and Diane McBain. Very minor discoloration on the REVERSE side of the card, but nothing that bleeds through to the front. Very Fine Condition.
