The film stars Tyrone Power, Joan Blondell, Coleen Gray, Roy Roberts, Mike Mazurki, George Magree and Frank O'Connor. Like many noirs the film examines the lies and deceits of it's main character, a smooth-talking mentalist played by Power. We meet Power working in a carnival, greedy and ambitious and about to commit a murder. His fortunes rise dramatically before they crash and burn. No spoilers here! The movie was recently remade and the remake is as good as the original. Clearly one of the great film noirs. This poster was used in a theater, showed some light signs of theater-use.
