Original Universal Pictures One Sheet Poster (27x41) for the Richard Heffron crime thriller, NEWMAN'S LAW (1974) starring George Peppard, Roger Robinson, and Eugene Roche. The film chronicles the exploits of Los Angeles police officer Newman (Peppard), who has the reputation of a straight arrow and, therefore, is hated by thugs and cops alike. When he gets framed to get him out of the way, he loses the protection of wearing a badge. This exposes him to beatings and assassination attempts, and he realizes that a corrupt cop must be supplying the thugs with information. Originally filmed as a made for TV movie, Universal decided to release it as a feature film to theaters instead.
