Original U.S. Lobby Card Set Eight Individual Cards Very Fine Condition

ABC Entertainment Original Set of U.S. Lobby Cards for the Robert Altman film NASHVILLE (1975). As the American Bicentennial approached (1976) Hollywood went to Nashville to figure out what it was all about. The result is one of the strangest films that Robert Altman made -- and one of the most famous. The film featured a host of performers from different areas of show business. The script tries to find a place for each of them in a winding narrative about the music business in Nashville. There's also some politics, as an independent candidate for POTUS tries to find voters in Country Music Land, USA. The movie was nominated for Best Picture, and for four other oscars, but won only one, Best Song, a laid back ballad, "I'm Easy", sung by Keith Carradine. Altman was also nominated, as was Lily Tomlin. MovieArt Original Film Posters in Austin, Texas guarantees that these cards are authentic. MovieArt Austin does not sell reproductions.
