Universal PIctures Original Three-Sheet Poster (41x81) for the Henry Koster directed comedy MY MAN GODFREY (1957) starring David Niven, June Allyson, Jessie Royce Landis, Robert Keith, Eva Gabor, Jay Robsinson, Martha Hyer and Jeff Donnell. This of course was a remake of the famous 1936 film of the same name starring Carole Lombard and William Powell. Here the ditzy Lombard is replaced with the more breezy June Allyson, while Niven more or less replaces William Powell. Three sheets are large format posters which are printed on two separate sheets. These panels are joined together to make one poster. This poster has been graded in very fine condition, and we suspect that the poster was never used. Or, if it was, it was certainly treated nicely.
