Warner Brothers Original U.S. One-Sheet Poster (27x41) for the Stanley Donen directed musical comedy MOVIE MOVIE (1978), starring George C. Scott, Trish Van Devere, Barbara Harris, Red Buttons, Barry Bostwick, Ann Reinking, Art Carney and Eli Wallach. The movie is basically a satire, sending up two types of prototypical movies of the 1930s - the backstage-on-Broadway musical ("Baxter's Beauties of 1933") and the boxing movie ("Dynamite Hands"). In between these two mini-movies is a spoof trailer for a World War I aviation movie entitled "Zero Hour". This movie was a fond hope for Warner Brothers, with none other than the director of SINGIN' IN THE RAIN at the helm. The film garnered a number of award nominations and was awared one of the "Ten Best Films" of 1978 by the Naitonal Board of Review.
