Original Italian 38x55 poster for the Sam Newfield directed B-Western film MOONLIGHT ON THE RANGE (1937) starring Fred Scott, Al "Fuzzy" St. John, Lois January, Dick Curtis, Frank LaRue, Jimmy Aubrey, Carl Matthews and Ed Cassidy. Fred Scott was known as "the silvery voiced buckaroo" and most of his appearances was as a singing cowboy. While this film dates from 1937, the poster certainly does not. Italica Film is shown as the distributor and we can find no information about them. The poster is not dated, but appears to date from the 1950s most probably. Curiously, the film strip shown on the bottom left promises viewers a Mickey Mouse cartoon as well as some other attractions. This poster is an authentic Italian film poster.
