Tri-Star Original U.S. One-Sheet Poster for the Barbra Streisand directed film THE MIRROR HAS TWO FACES (1996). It will be 30 years soon since Streisand directed this movie. This romantic / comic film concerns a literature professor (at Columbia University) and a young woman, unlucky in love, who find one another despite all the odds. The film's cast included Lauren Bacall, Pierce Brosnan, George Segal, Mimi Rogers and Austin Pendleton. Bacall won the Golden Globe and some other awards for a lovely performance as a supporting actor. Barbra Streisand took some nasty, near-personal remarks from critics, but audiences liked the movie. Studios balked for years at financing Streisand to direct. This film cost 42 million bucks and made 82 million bucks. Maybe they should have listened sooner. This poster was never folded, is double-sided, and is absolutely authentic. For a good read, we recommend Barbra Streisand's autobiography.
