Original Belgian Poster (Trimmed 13x17) for the Carmine Gallone historical drama, MESSALINA (1951) starring Maria Felix, Georges Marchal, Memo Benassi, and Delia Scala. This original Italian production was known in the U.S. as THE AFFAIRS OF MESSALINA and tells the story of the most notorious woman in Roman history. Felix presents a memorable portrayal of this complex ancient woman who comes to an ignominious end through her excesses and folly. The original Belgian poster presents a stunning portrait of the Mexican superstar. Although the poster is trimmed at the top with some of the playdate information still visible, it in otherwise fine plus condition. Because of the trims, we have graded this as very good.
