Original Warner Brothers Six Sheet Poster (81x81) for the Jean Negulesco film noir, THE MASK OF DIMITRIOS (1944) starring Peter Lorre, Sydney Greenstreet, Zachary Scott, and Faye Emerson. Lorre artfully plays a Dutch mystery writer who tries to discover the truth about the notorious criminal Dimitrios Makropoulos, played by Zachary Scott in his film debut. Though the film was made entirely on the back lot at Warner Brothers, the audience is magically transported to Istanbul, Athens, Sofia, Geneva, Belgrade, and Paris. Thus, the film captures a European flavor with its international cast and creative sets, and veteran director Negulesco keeps the action and suspense moving. This original six sheet poster is folded and in very fine condition.
