Universal Pictures Original U.S. One-Sheet poster for the British film MARY QUEEN OF SCOTS (1972) starring Glenda Jackson and Vanessa Redgrave. The story of the Catholic Queen of Scotland and her powerful cousin had been filmed before, famously with Katherine Hepburn as Mary and John Ford directing. But in this film the two queens were paired more or less on equal footing with two of the great actresses of England at the height of their careers. This time the film was helmed by Charles Jarrott. Nobody does this stuff as well as the Brits! The U.S. poster has nice art of the two queens by Robert Tanenbaum. A nice example with great color, but with some small fold separation at the fold intersections. MovieArt Austin guarantees this poster to be original, vintage, authentic. Condition is fine plus.
