Original Polish 24x33 Poster for the French film LES MARIES DE L'AN DEUX (1971). The English title is THE MARRIED COUPLE OF THE YEAR. The comedy was fairly popular in Europe, no doubt helped by the ever poplular Belmondo. Set in the late eighteen century at the time of the Reign of Terror, the movie was directed by Jean-Paul Rappeneau. The Polish poster is lively, and the art by Andrzej Krajewski perhaps cribs a bit from the style of Peter Max. The poster is rolled and in very fine condition.
