U.S. Poster (24x32) for a release - we are not sure whether this is the first U.S. release - for the Filipino martial arts film MANDA VS. KUNG FU (1974). The film stars Rosemarie Gil and Alex Tanglec. Also appearing in the film was Romy Diaz, Lito Legaspi and Kijhoanna Garcia. The movie is a Filipino film and was first produced by Asia Films. This is an unusual poster, even for martial arts movie posters. MovieArt Austin purchased the contents of a theater that played many of the more obscure martial arts films. Most of these films were made in Asia. While online databases can give some information about the films and about the distribution for the films in the U.S. it is also true that some of the lesser known films can have sketchy information.
