Original Warner Brothers Set of 9 Deluxe Oversized Gelatin Silver Prints (11x14) for the Bryan Forbes comedy, THE MAD WOMAN OF CHAILLOT (1969) starring Katharine Hepburn, Paul Henreid, Yul Brynner, Richard Chamberlain, and Edith Evans. Adapted from a Broadway play by Jean Giraudoux, Hepburn plays the eccentric Countess Aurelia, who must deal with a society endangered by the forces of power and greed. It seems that Paris is sitting on top of a huge, untapped oil field, which the group of villains wish to develop. When Hepburn and her strange friends find out about this deadly threat to their beloved Paris, they put the villains on trial (in absentia) and sentence them to death. The still set includes black and white portraits of Paul Henreid, Charles Boyer, John Gavin, Claude Dauphin, Edith Evans, Margaret Leighton, Oscar Homolka, Donald Pleasence, and Nanette Newman. This set of 9 oversized still photographs is in fine plus condition.
