Paramount Pictures Original U.S. Three Sheet Poster 41x81 Folded Fine Plus Condition
Paramount PIctures Original U.S. Three-Sheet Poster (41x81) for the Ray McCarey directed depression-era comedy LET'S MAKE A MILLION (1936) starring Edward Everett Horton, Charlotte Wynters, Porter Hall, J.M. Kerrigan, Purnell Pratt, Irv Bacon and Eddie Acuff. Horton became one of the truly great American character actors, enjoying a long career in films (and TV) that lasted from 1922 until 1971. Here is an example of why Paramount large format posters were so arresting in the 30s. We see Horton not as a supporting player but as a leading man! Ray McCarey is not as famous as his brother Leo McCarey, but he too had a very long career in films as a director. While Leo made some of the great U.S. masterpieces, Ray directed 62 films, mostly B-pictures and low budget movies. Three sheet posters are large format posters which are printed on two panels that are joined together to present as one poster. MovieArt Austin guarantees that this poster is an authentic U.S. three sheet poster for this film. MovieArt Austin does not sell reproductions.
