Lana Turner is a rich woman who is convinced that men want her only for her money. This, in and of itself, is a stretch, but she follows her American boyfriend to Brazil only to fall for...a Latin Lover, of course. That would be the debonair Ricardo Montalban. Fernando Lamas was originally slated to play the role, but when he and real-life girlfriend Turner fell out, he got replaced with Montalban.
