Description
Original Universal Pictures One Sheet Poster (27x41). Folded. Very Good Condition.
For the fiftieth anniversary of Universal Pictures, the studio produced a series of short subject documentaries. Universal had a history of making short subject two-reel films to distribute with their features. MovieArt has a broad selection of one sheets from these films. To see the lot, search for documentaries in the MovieArt Shop in the genres section under documentaries. THE LAND OF THE LONG WHITE CLOUD was a color travelogue of New Zealand produced in CinemaScope. The indigenous Maori language name for New Zealand is Aotearoa, commonly translated as "land of the long white clouds." We've never seen the film, but here is an interesting poster sporting an indigenous peoples' totem and some New Zealand scenery. Average used theater copy. Some pinholes and somewhat rumpled. Very good condition, folded, and rare. NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH THE 2009 DOCUMENTARY OF THE SAME NAME.
