Original Columbia Pictures One Sheet Poster for LA BAMBA (1987) written and directed by Luis Valdez and starring Lou Diamond Phillips . The movie is about the life of Latin rock and roll singer Ritchie Valens (Richard Valenzuela). Valens' professional singing career lasted only eight months, during which time he recorded some very influential songs including the Latin rock hit LA BAMBA. Valens died in a plane crash along with singers Buddy Holly and J.P. Richardson, aka, The Big Bopper in February, 1959. Richie Valens remains one of the legendary figures of early rock and roll history. This original one sheet poster has no folds (rolled) and is in very fine to near mint condition. Hard to find this poster looking this good. The poster is printed on one side. An excellent example of this poster.
