Although criticized for being "vulgar," the film is also incredibly funny. All of the characters are convincing, multi-dimensional, and very likeable. Both Rogen and Heigl are very entertaining and have great chemistry together. Rudd and Mann are also excellent in their supporting roles. It is true that the rest of Rogen's friends in the film are unkempt stoner-slackers who are admittedly hard to like, but the main actors try to make up for it.
