Original MGM One-Sheet Poster, re-release of 1962, for the Richard Thorpe adventure drama, KNIGHTS OF THE ROUND TABLE (1953) starring Robert Taylor, Ava Gardner, and Mel Ferrer. In this lavish retelling of the Arthurian legend, Taylor is well cast as Lancelot, Gardner was never lovelier as Guinevere, and Ferrer bright nobility and sensitivity to the role of King Arthur. Richard Thorpe did an excellent job of directing, and Miklos Rosza created a beautiful and memorable score. Please note that this is not the original year of issue poster (1953), but rather a release of the film in 1962. The poster's art is different from the first release.
