Original U.S. 40x60 Poster Folded Fine Condition
Original Hallmark Attractions U.S. 40x60 poster for the William B. Treutle directed documentary film KARAMOJA (1954). Read about this film in wikipedia; it is fascinating. The movie is only 63 minutes long and was filmed in 16mm. The title refers to a sub-region of Uganda in the northeast of the country. The film is actually more or less your standard travelogue, but the poster creators have fashioned a slightly exploitative look for the poster. Hot, vivid colors and a black background with provocative text creates an almost camp effect. This poster was used in a theater and is folded. It has one small hole at a fold intersection. A great candidate for linen-backing, and unusual, but especially so in this rare size. MovieArt Original Film Posters in Austin, Texas guarantees that this poster is an authentic U.S. poster for this film. MovieArt Austin does not sell reproductions.
