Original U.S. Half-Sheet Poster (22x28) Folded Very Good Condition Theater-Used
Original Hallmark Attractions U.S. Half-Sheet Poster (22x28) for the William B. Treutle directed documentary film KARAMOJA (1954). Read about this film in wikipedia; it is fascinating. The movie is only 63 minutes long and was filmed in 16mm. The title refers to a sub-region of Uganda in the northeast of the country. The film is actually more or less your standard travelogue, but the poster creators have fashioned a slightly exploitative look for the poster. Hot, vivid colors and a black background with provocative text creates an almost camp effect. This poster was used in a theater and is folded. It has some small holes and minor defects. Fold separation in the horizontal fold has been provisionally repaired with archival tissue. A great candidate for linen-backing. MovieArt Original Film Posters in Austin, Texas guarantees that this poster is an authentic U.S. poster for this film. MovieArt Austin does not sell reproductions.
