Original U.S. One-Sheet Poster (27x41), folded, for the British movie JUGGERNAUT (1974). The film seeks to tell a story that happened in fact - sort of. British marines were parachuted into the Atlantic to counter a bomb threat in 1972. It turned out that the threat was a hoax. But this event inspired the making of the this movie. A German ship, The Hamburg, owned by a group of Soviets, was used as the setting of a film with a similar story. What a cast - Richard Harris, Anthony Hopkins and Omar Sharif. Two different directors bailed on the project and Richard Lester, famous as the man who filmed two films starring The Beatles, was brought on board. The poster features art by Bob McCall.
