Original United Artists Half Sheet Poster (22x28) starring Yul Brynner, Janice Rule and George Segal. The film was directed by Richard Wilson. The movie tells the story of a confederate veteran who returns to his home in New Mexico to discover that his farm has been sold by an unprincipled banker played by Pat Hingle. His fiancee has married another man in his absence. But the townspeople resent his allegiance to the Confederacy. The confederate veteran, played by George Segal, has had enough and he hires an exotic gunfighter (Brynner) to set everyone straight. But when the gunfighter goes off the rails, something quite different ensues. The film was a success at the box office and plays fairly well today. The art of Yul Brynner is by Mauceri. The poster is in fine plus condition; originally the poster was folded, but has been stored flat for some time.
