Original Italian Poster (39x55) for the Andre De Toth western, THE INDIAN FIGHTER (1955) starring Kirk Douglas, Elsa Martinelli, and Walter Matthau. Set in 1870, this is the exciting story of a former Indian fighter (Douglas) who has made peace with the Indians but while leading a wagon train through hostile Indian territory unwittingly gets involved with a Sioux Chief's beautiful daughter (Martinelli). Cinematographer Wilfred M. Cline made wonderful use of the spectacular Oregon scenery, and the action scenes are expertly staged and executedÌ¢åÛåÓespecially the Indian attack on the fort. This original Italian poster is folded, as is customary, and is in very fine plus condtion -- no fold separation, vivid color, good paper integrity. A very nice poster for this film.
