Original Paramount Pictures One-Sheet Poster (27x41) for the Frank Tuttle silent romantic comedy, HIS PRIVATE LIFE (1928) starring Adolphe Menjou, Kathryn Carver, and Margaret Livingston. This is one of those gorgeous Paramount posters that characterized the silent / early sound era. Menjou portrays Geroges St. German, whose sexual peccadilloes are so frequent and plentiful that he is forced to bribe practically every civil servant in Paris to keep mum. He becomes fascinated with American tourist Eleanor (Carver) and does his utmost to seduce her. He finally wins his heroine, but only on her terms.
