Original Universal Pictures One Sheet Poster (27x41) for the Robert Wise historical drama, THE HINDENBURG (1975) starring George C. Scott, Anne Bancroft, and William Atherton. Before there was Led Zeppelin there was The Hindenburg. The blimp went up in a burst of flame when it tried to dock in Lakehurst, New Jersey on May 6, 1937. The disaster brought an end of the era of the rigid airship, but not to the impulse to document disasters in movies. The poster is folded and in very good condition.
