20th Century Fox Original U.S. 24-sheet poster for the Alexander Mackendrick film A HIGH WIND IN JAMAICA (1965) starring Anthony Quinn and James Coburn. What a cast! Beautiful art of the players. The movie is based on the 1929 novel of Richard Hughes about pirates who capture five children. Other cast members include Deborah Baxter, Nigel Davenport, Isabel Dean, Lila Kedrova, Kenneth J. Warren, and Gert Frobe. One of the child actors is the author Martin Amis. The novel had been treasured for its biting wit, but this film softened that somewhat. Handsomely mounted and photographed in CinemaScope and color, the film holds up rather well. MovieArt Original Film Posters guarantees that this billboard is authentic.
