Original United Artists Six Sheet Poster (81x81) for the Richard Lester BeatleFest, HELP! (1965) starring The Beatles: John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr. The wacky plot of this film, little more than an excuse to deliver (now classic) Beatles songs, revolves around a religious cult, who needs to retrieve a sacrificial ring, which Ringo cannot get off his finger. This James Bond spy spoof did not reveal the Fab Four to be great comedic actors, but the film did provide a showcase for some wonderful Beatles' songs. While their earlier film, A HARD DAY'S NIGHT (1964) focused on their hits, this film is more concerned with their musical harmonies and virtuosity. This six sheet is a large format poster which is already linen-backed. The condition is very fine. This poster takes up a lot of real estate! So be sure that you are ready for a six sheet. Many people simply pin the six sheets to the wall as framing is both challenging and expensive.
