Description
U.S. Three Sheet Poster (41x81) Signed by Carroll Baker.
This potboiler film biography of thirties legend Jean Harlow was one of the most successful pictures of the 1960s. Racy for it's time, the film starred the statuesque Carroll Baker as Jean Harlow and a cast of great supporting players including Peter Lawford, George Peppard, Raf Vallone, Angela Lansbury, Michael Connors, Red Buttons, and Martin Balsam. Curiously sanitized while at the same time sensationalized the film makes little effort to underscore the reality of life in Hollywood in the thirties, particularly as it relates to studio players and their contractural obligations. Sex is what sells here and Carroll Baker is ravishing as one of MGM's greatest stars. Thirty years after the fact, the film was made by Paramount. This three sheet is in very good condition, is folded, and is signed by Carroll Baker. Poster would look great if linen-backed. Ask us about linen backing services.
